Bald Eagle
Today we went to the Howden Show, a local agricultural and farming type fair. (I'm going to assume it's a little like a Country Fair for any American visitors) There are rides and stalls, displays of various things from working dogs to falcons which is why I managed to snap this very handsome Bald Eagle. He, along with two vultures and a Sea Eagle, wowed the audience in the searing heat.
There were plenty of animals for Evie to see, and in a lot of cases stroke, and it was a lovely day. Next week we'll go to the much larger Great Yorkshire Show so I think I'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to things to photograph!
(P.S. Also...well done Andy Murray! First Briton in 77 years to win Wimbledon and what a match it was!)
